judges

"No Perfect People Allowed"

If you know anything about the Bible you might ask yourself, "why would anyone choose to do a series on the book of Judges?  And more importantly, why broadcast it over the internet for anyone to see?  It's a disturbing book in some regards and parts of it are often used to show how brutal God is and how His supposed people do nothing but worship idols and kill each other.  Well, like the title says, we don't expect people in our lives to be perfect and in Israel those thousands of years ago, God didn't expect the people he wanted to use to be perfect either.  So have a listen and hopefully these short summaries of the Judges of Israel can help you understand a bit more what these bizarre stories mean.
